Serving dish – Bengali pattern – Bernardaud
Description
Elegant round serving dish with handles in Limoges porcelain, made by Bernardaud, Bengali model, created in the second half of the 20th century. This enameled ivory porcelain piece features a lively Louis XV-inspired silhouette, highlighted by a delicate gold trim.
The polychrome decoration, inspired by the 18th century, combines floral bouquets, blossoming branches, and an exotic bird perched on a branch, in the spirit of Chinoiserie and naturalist designs that made European porcelain famous.
Thanks to its two openwork handles and generous size, this dish is ideal for serving pastries, fruits, or reception pieces. It also makes a beautiful decorative object.
Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, or restorations. Some discreet signs of use on the gold trim, without altering the presentation quality of the piece.
