Objects That Tell a Story
Printemps Tardif was born from a simple belief: the most beautiful objects are not always the newest.
We primarily select Limoges porcelain, glassware, and tableware chosen for their quality, elegance, and ability to stand the test of time.
Each piece is meticulously sought after. Some come from old manufacturers, others from end-of-series or clearance sales. All have been chosen for the quality of their craftsmanship, their impeccable condition, and their ability to integrate naturally into both contemporary and more classic interiors.
We believe that a table should be set with the same care as an interior. A beautiful object is not just useful: it accompanies daily gestures and gradually becomes a witness to our history.
A Discerning Selection
We prioritize objects whose lines remain current, sometimes decades after their creation. A plate, a glass, or a dish are not just chosen for their aesthetics, but for the pleasure they provide in use.
Our selection primarily includes Limoges porcelain, glassware, stoneware pieces, and some decorative objects. Each item is chosen individually, without systematically seeking a collection effect.
We love incomplete sets, discreet editions, forgotten pieces, and beautiful craftsmanship that deserves to find a place in today's homes.
A New Life for Objects
At Printemps Tardif, we believe that beauty is not measured by newness. Many objects made yesterday bear witness to craftsmanship, quality of execution, and durability that deserve to be preserved.
Choosing an existing piece means giving it a new life while avoiding the production of an additional object. It's a simple gesture that contributes to a more mindful way of consuming, without sacrificing pleasure or elegance.
We prioritize objects in perfect condition, ready for daily use. They sometimes bear the subtle traces of time but retain what makes them valuable: the accuracy of their proportions, the quality of their materials, and the care taken in their manufacture.
We hope these pieces will naturally find their place on a table, in a kitchen, or on a shelf, and that they will continue to accompany daily gestures for many more years.
Printemps Tardif is an invitation to choose durable objects, to take the time to use them, to pass them on, and to allow them to continue writing their story.
