Description

Small lidded sugar bowl in very fine Limoges porcelain, produced by the Théodore Haviland factory around 1914. It must have belonged to a refined set adorned with delicate garlands of small roses held by green bows, highlighted with fine gold lines. The fluted body adds relief and elegance to the whole, in a Louis XVI inspired style very popular in the early 20th century.

The decoration is applied by chromolithography with gold highlights. The porcelain has a beautiful, slightly ivory white, characteristic of Haviland productions from this period.

The bottom bears the red printed mark "Theodore Haviland Limoges France", corresponding to a production from the 1910s.

Excellent antique condition, no chips, cracks, or restorations. Gilding very well preserved.
