Description
Covered jug / coffee pot in Limoges porcelain produced by Union Limousine (ULIM), featuring a geometric form with slightly angular lines characteristic of the Art Deco period.
The white porcelain is enhanced by a broad pale blue band outlined with fine gilt lines. The body is delicately decorated with small polychrome floral bouquets, including pink roses, blue and yellow flowers. The sculptural handle, gold-edged spout and fluted foot lend a particularly refined character to the piece.
The lid features matching floral decoration and is topped with a fluted knob, also accented with gold.
An elegant and decorative example of Limoges porcelain, suitable for use as either a covered jug or coffee pot.
