Teapot – Manufacture Haviland – Limoges, 21st Century

White porcelain teapot made by Manufacture Haviland in Limoges, presented here without a visible maker’s mark or stamp on the underside.

The teapot features a gently curved cylindrical form, enhanced by particularly refined moulded relief decoration. The body is structured with several registers of vertical fluting and geometric raised friezes, separated by fine horizontal mouldings. Entirely integrated into the porcelain, the decoration remains deliberately tone-on-tone and is revealed through the play of light across the glossy white surface.

The domed lid repeats the same decorative language and is topped with a moulded ring-shaped finial. The long, elegantly curved spout contrasts with the verticality of the body. The straight, slightly moulded handle completes the design with understated elegance.

This teapot comes from a factory clearance. It was classified as a second-quality piece when it left the factory. It remains in its original condition and may display minor characteristics or irregularities associated with its classification, but remains new and without apparent defects.
