Sublime celadon porcelain teapot, adorned with a spectacular relief-moulded dragon decoration, from a clearance sale at the Haviland factory in Limoges.

The dragon, sculpted in relief on the body of the piece, unfurls in a design inspired by traditional Chinese iconography. The particularly fine moulding highlights the scales, paws, and movements of the animal's body, while the light subtly reveals the porcelain's volumes.

The lid features the same decorative vocabulary with a relief scale motif and a sculpted finial. The teapot has a generous silhouette, a tall and architectural handle, and a long, slightly curved spout.
