Small Hollow Stoneware Dish – Guillaume Baudin – Eymoutiers, 2020s

Small stoneware dish made by Guillaume Baudin in Eymoutiers, Haute-Vienne.

The piece features a dark, heavily grogged clay with numerous mineral inclusions. The interior is covered with a glossy grey-brown glaze, whose variations and irregularities highlight the artisanal nature of the piece.

The low, organic form is accentuated by an irregular rim, while the exterior retains a raw, concrete-like texture, particularly expressive. A discreet "GB" mark is visible under the base.

A sober and tactile piece, representative of a contemporary approach to stoneware.
