Small stoneware dish made by Guillaume Baudin in Eymoutiers, Haute-Vienne.

The piece features a heavily grogged brown clay, rich in visible mineral inclusions on the surface. Its low, circular shape is enlivened by a decor of superimposed red-brown and olive green bands, achieved by applying different glazes. The material effects, drips, and firing variations give the decor a particularly expressive character.

The interior is covered with a shiny dark brown glaze, contrasting with the rougher appearance of the exterior. The bottom bears a discreet incised "GB" mark.

A tactile and unique piece, where the simplicity of the form highlights the richness of the materials and firing effects.
