Set of Eight Small Stoneware Plates – Saint-Amand-en-Puysaye, Late 20th Century

Set of 8 small stoneware plates made by Poterie des Guimards, a workshop established in 1976 near Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye.

The pieces feature a light beige glaze, subtly speckled with small brown and dark inclusions. The throwing lines remain visible in the material, and each plate has slight variations in shade and texture, characteristic of artisanal production.

With a diameter of 15.5 cm, these plates can be used as dessert plates, for small appetizers, mignardises, or canapés. Their size also lends itself to a contemporary presentation, complementing larger pieces.

A homogeneous yet non-uniform set, where the material and variations in the glazing are the essence of the aesthetic.
