Set of Four Large Charger Plates – Manufacture Jaune de Chrome – Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, 21st Century

Set of four porcelain charger plates by Manufacture Jaune de Chrome, based in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat, in the Limousin region of France.

Round in shape with clean, understated lines, these plates stand out for their delicate celadon glaze in a soft water-green hue with subtle blue undertones. The glaze features a dense network of fine crackles, an intentionally sought-after effect created during firing and particularly visible across the surface of each piece.

The contrast between the softness of the celadon, the white porcelain edges and the subtle texture of the glaze gives the set a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

The mark on the underside identifies Manufacture Jaune de Chrome – Porcelaine France, established in Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat.

Very good overall condition. The glaze is well preserved. The crackling is an intentional characteristic of the glaze and does not indicate cracks in the porcelain.

These items come from a manufacturer’s clearance and were classified as factory seconds when released by the manufacturer. They have been retained in their original condition and may display minor characteristics or irregularities associated with their factory-second classification, but remain new and without any apparent defects. Some plates in this set may not bear a manufacturer’s mark.
