Description

This Limoges porcelain serving dish, produced by the prestigious Jean Pouyat factory, features a delicate design of pink rose bouquets and small flowers, elegantly arranged on a scalloped rim. The molded edge is accentuated by a fine gilded line that highlights its Louis XV-inspired relief.

Made in Limoges at the turn of the 20th century, this model showcases the expertise of Jean Pouyat, one of the great Limoges factories renowned for the quality of its porcelain. Its romantic floral decoration makes it an ideal piece for an elegant table setting or a shabby chic style decor.

Good general condition. Slight wear on the gilded line and discreet signs of use. No cracks or chips.

The stamp reads PAT. JAN. 23rd 1906? or 1908? It is typical of products intended for the United States, the factory's main export market in the early 20th century.
