Small vase – Art Deco – William Guérin
Description
This Limoges porcelain table vase was made by William Guérin in the 1920s-1930s. Its faceted silhouette with cut sides, typical of the Art Deco period, is adorned with two elegant rectangular handles highlighted with a platinum line.
The decoration, of great freshness, consists of a bouquet of stylized flowers in shades of cobalt blue, white, and yellow, inscribed in an octagonal medallion bordered by a blue line. Delicate blue and gray geometric patterns punctuate the different facets of the vase, bringing balance and modernity to the whole.
The green mark WG & C° Limoges applied under the base attests to its manufacture by the William Guérin factory, one of the great Limoges porcelain houses of the early 20th century.
This vase is ideal for holding a few flowers or simply being displayed as a beautiful decorative object representative of the Art Deco style.
