Pair of Fine Porcelain Tea Cups – Limoges, c. 1940-1950

Pair of white glazed porcelain teacups, probably produced by the La Seynie factory in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, Haute-Vienne.

The cups have a wide, slightly flared shape, resting on a small foot. Their silhouette is highlighted by an openwork handle with elegant, graphic lines. The bright white porcelain emphasizes the simplicity of the design and its quality of craftsmanship.

A sober and refined pair, characteristic of the Limousin porcelain tradition, ideal for serving tea.
