Set of Six Cups and Five Saucers – Manufacture Haviland – Limoges, c. 1930–1950

Made of white glazed hard-paste porcelain, this set is distinguished by its understated Neoclassical decoration: fine, slightly embossed fluting accentuates the base of the cups, while the saucers feature an elegant scalloped rim. The delicately curved handles add an extra touch of refinement.

Timeless and luminous, this set works equally well on a classic table or in a contemporary interior.

Condition: very good overall condition. One saucer is missing (6 cups / 5 saucers). No chips or hairline cracks were observed on the pieces presented.

Founded in the 19th century, the Haviland manufactory is one of the most prestigious porcelain houses in Limoges. Renowned for the quality of its porcelain body, the fineness of its glaze, and the elegance of its designs, it has played a major role in establishing the international reputation of Limoges porcelain.
