Set of Four Small Japanese Whisky Glasses in Moulded Glass – France (probably), Late 20th Century

Set of four small whisky glasses in clear glass, with a low, compact shape, a thick base and a geometric moulded relief decoration.

The lower part of each glass features an angular, radiating pattern, creating attractive plays of light through the thickness of the glass. The upper section is smooth and slightly flared, providing a contrast with the relief decoration.

Measuring 7 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter, these small glasses are particularly well suited to serving Japanese whisky and small quantities of spirits. Their thick bases also make them suitable for serving drinks with a few ice cubes.

The shape, moulded decoration and dimensions are also consistent with European, particularly French, production from the second half of the 20th century.
