Set of six Limoges porcelain dessert plates, Charles Field Haviland manufacture, with a celadon background and Japonist decoration.

This elegant set of six Limoges porcelain dessert plates bears the mark of the Charles Field Haviland factory.

The plates feature a delicate Japonist decoration composed of freely drawn branches, leaves in shades of green and turquoise blue, and stylized flowers in various pink tones. The intentionally minimalist decoration stands out against a very soft celadon background, creating a bright and refined ensemble.

The asymmetrical composition, inspired by Japanese aesthetics, allows the plain background to show through extensively, highlighting the branches and flowers. The simplicity of the shape harmoniously contrasts with the graphic freedom of the decoration.

Each plate also bears a hand-painted signature, appearing to read Youica. As this signature could not be identified with certainty, it is mentioned here as an undocumented attribution.

Very good overall condition. The decoration and glaze are well preserved. No chips or cracks observed.
