Dessert Plates in Fine Earthenware – Manufacture K&G – Lunéville, c. 1970-1980

Set of eleven fine earthenware (Ironstone) dessert plates, manufactured by K&G (Keller & Guérin) in Lunéville, Meurthe-et-Moselle.

Each plate features a delicate monochrome decoration in shades of green and grey-brown, composed of finely detailed leaves and small branches with graceful volutes. This naturalistic decor stands out against a luminous white background, enhanced by a brilliant glaze.

The plates are distinguished by their elegant radiating relief rim, forming a fan-like pattern around the well, and by their delicately scalloped edge. The glaze highlights the relief of the paste and brings a beautiful luminosity to the whole.

Both refined and timeless, this botanical decor is part of the tradition of Lunéville productions while also testifying to a later production by the manufacturer.

A beautiful set of dessert plates, ideal for a country table, a collection of French earthenware, or a decorative display.

Very good overall condition. The plates show minimal signs of use and some surface irregularities related to their manufacture. The decoration is well preserved and the glaze remains brilliant. No visible chips or cracks.
