Large oval serving dish – Chastagner
Description
Large oval serving dish in Limoges porcelain, made by Chastagner & Cie, a manufacturer specializing in quality dinnerware, active from 1946 to 1980. Made of glazed hard white porcelain, it captivates with its entirely molded decoration in slight relief, inspired by the Louis XV – Rococo style.
The rim features a refined composition of radiating gadroons, shells, volutes, and a delicately scalloped edge, creating a subtle play of light and shadow. Devoid of painted decoration, this model highlights the purity of white porcelain and the timeless elegance of its reliefs.
This dish fits equally well into a classic table setting or a contemporary interior. It can be used as a presentation dish, serving dish, or simply as a decorative object.
