Creamer / Milk Jug in Porcelain – Manufacture Georges Boyer – Limoges, c. 1960–1970

Beautiful Limoges hard-paste porcelain creamer made in the 1960s–1970s by the Georges Boyer manufactory.

Elegant and slightly rounded in shape, this small milk jug is made of white porcelain with a glossy glaze, enhanced by rich gilded decoration. The upper rim is adorned with a continuous frieze of stylized laurel leaves, accompanied by fine gold lines. The spout is particularly elaborately decorated with a broad gilded accent, while the handle is entirely gilded.

The simplicity of the white porcelain, combined with the abundant gilding and laurel motif, gives this piece a refined and timeless aesthetic, characteristic of certain productions by the Georges Boyer manufactory during the second half of the 20th century.

The underside bears the mark “LIMOGES FRANCE / PORCELAINE DURE Georges Boyer LIMOGES-FRANCE”, confirming its origin.
