Description

Limoges porcelain creamer signed William Guérin, made in the 1920s (before 1932). Its faceted silhouette, with geometric lines characteristic of Art Deco, is enhanced by a rhythmic decoration of cobalt blue and platinum gray motifs, highlighted by thin platinum lines.

The elongated spout and angular handle contribute to the architectural aesthetic typical of this period's productions. Sober and refined, this model illustrates the decorative renewal of Limoges porcelain between the two wars.

The underside bears the mark W.G.&C° Limoges France, corresponding to the William Guérin factory, active in Limoges at the beginning of the 20th century. This decoration is typical of Art Deco productions from the late 1920s.

Excellent antique condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs. Decoration and platinum highlights well preserved.
