Art Deco Creamer – Manufacture La Porcelaine Limousine – Limoges, c. 1925–1935

This Limoges porcelain creamer was produced by La Porcelaine Limousine, a manufacturer and decorator based in Limoges from 1905 to 1939, and then distributed by E. Léveillé, 8 rue Paradis in Paris. Its faceted silhouette, geometric handle, and pour spout highlight a decidedly Art Deco aesthetic.

Its decoration consists of a frieze of raspberry pink geometric patterns, highlighted with fine gold lines, which contrasts with the brilliance of the white porcelain. Characteristic of French creations from the interwar period, this piece combines simple lines with decorative refinement.

In excellent condition, this creamer will naturally find its place on a refined table, could be repurposed as a small vase for a few flowers, or join a collection dedicated to Limoges porcelain or 1930s decorative arts.
