LIMOGES FRANCE”, which appears to correspond to the signature or mark of a decorator rather than that of a clearly identified porcelain manufacturer.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe particularly architectural form features a tall, slightly flared body resting on an octagonal foot, a moulded handle with an angular profile, and a wide, flared spout. The domed lid is topped with a similarly moulded finial and accented with metallic trim.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe floral decoration, executed in a remarkable palette of blues, greys and blue-grey tones, consists of bouquets of roses, white flowers, cornflowers and small wildflowers, accompanied by finely drawn foliage. The main compositions are complemented by small individual flowers arranged across the body, lid and around the spout.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe decoration has a highly graphic character, with flowers rendered in shades of blue and dark outlines adding definition and depth to the compositions. The overall design reflects the taste for stylised floral decoration found in French porcelain production of the mid-20th century.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe piece is further enhanced with silver-coloured metallic trim around the lid, spout and certain elements of the form.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGood overall condition considering its age. There is, however, a small chip underneath the lid (see photo).
