Set of Six Bread Plates – Pont aux Choux – Manufacture Raynaud – Limoges, Late 20th Century
Description
Set of six bread plates in Limoges porcelain by Manufacture Raynaud, Pont aux Choux pattern.
Measuring 16 cm in diameter, these small plates feature a rim with gently scalloped contours. Their distinctive floral decoration is rendered entirely in white porcelain relief: flowers, foliage and botanical motifs extend across the rim, creating a subtle interplay of light beneath the glossy glaze.
The Pont aux Choux pattern draws inspiration from an 18th-century Parisian porcelain manufactory and is distinguished by its sculpted botanical motifs in white porcelain relief. Raynaud offers this design in several sizes, including the 16 cm format.
Originally intended for serving bread, these plates are also ideal for appetisers, hors d’oeuvres, small desserts or a selection of sweet treats.
A particularly decorative set, with its white-on-white relief lending the table a classic elegance while maintaining a refined simplicity.
