The largely undecorated white centre particularly highlights the fineness and luminosity of the porcelain.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003eGold inlay is a particularly demanding decorative technique: the design is engraved directly into the porcelain enamel, then filled with gold before undergoing several stages of firing and finishing, including sandblasting, polishing and burnishing.
