Art Deco Coffee Set – Manufacture Boisbertrand / Limoges Unique – Limoges, c. 1930

Rare three-piece set in white Limoges hard-paste porcelain, comprising a coffee pot, a milk jug, and a covered sugar bowl.

The set features an octagonal form with crisp lines, characteristic of the Art Deco aesthetic, combined with a particularly graphic decoration: large stylised roses with geometric petals, in different shades of pink, stand out against a subtle network of grey motifs. The foliage, rendered in black and grey, reinforces the structured character of the design.

The finials, handles, and contour lines are highlighted with platinum trim, adding a precious touch to this remarkably modern design for its time.

The pieces bear the “Limoges Unique” mark on the underside, associated with the Boisbertrand manufactory (ribbon bearing the inscription “Limoges France”). The Limoges Unique mark was created in 1929 by the Union des fabricants de porcelaine de Limoges and was used for a relatively short period.
