Set of Seven Saucers – Manufacture Théodore Haviland – Limoges, c. 1895–1905

Set of seven antique fine Limoges porcelain saucers, “Mousseline” quality, made by the Théodore Haviland manufactory.

Made from fine “Mousseline” porcelain, these saucers feature a delicate and refined floral decoration. Against the luminous white porcelain, a graceful garland of pink flowers and green foliage surrounds the centre. The rim is adorned with an elegant Art Nouveau design in soft green and lavender blue, composed of interlacing elements and stylised vegetal motifs, highlighted with fine gilt accents.

The combination of pink flowers, green and blue, enhanced with gold, gives the set a particularly fresh and delicate appearance, characteristic of the refined tableware produced by the Limoges manufactory.

Designed as saucers for cups, their 14 cm diameter also makes them particularly suitable as small plates for serving petits fours, biscuits, pastries or other treats.

The set comprises seven saucers, sold together.

Good overall condition considering their age. The floral decorations are well preserved, with some light signs of wear consistent with age and use. The gilt lines and accents show more noticeable wear in places, particularly along the rims. A few small marks and minor irregularities are visible on some of the saucers.
