A second gold line frames the inner part of the rim as well as the well.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"335\" data-end=\"549\"\u003eThe combination of white porcelain, gold, and brown-black creates a refined yet highly structured design. The meander frieze references ancient geometric ornament, here reinterpreted for mid-20th-century tableware.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"551\" data-end=\"873\"\u003eThe underside bears the distinctive tricolour shield mark of A. Lanternier \u0026amp; Co., Limoges, surrounded by laurel branches and surmounted by a star, accompanied by the inscription “Limoges France”. This mark is documented by the Musée national Adrien Dubouché on several Lanternier pieces dated to around 1955–1960 and 1960.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"1059\"\u003eThe Lanternier manufactory, founded in Limoges in the 19th century, produced a wide range of tableware and decorative porcelain. The company later merged with G.D.A. in the late 1960s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1150\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\"\u003eVery good overall condition.
