Pair of Coffee Cups – Manufacture Bernardaud – Limoges, 1st Half of the 20th Century

This pair of white Limoges porcelain coffee cups was made by Bernardaud & Cie. The two pieces, of exceptional fineness, have a slightly flared shape, enhanced by magnificent scroll-shaped handles, with sinuous and refined lines characteristic of the Louis XV style. The pure white porcelain particularly enhances the sculptural design of the handles.

Both pieces bear the green stamp “B & Co LIMOGES FRANCE” on the underside, the mark of the Bernardaud manufacture used during the 20th century.

Their classic shape, combined with the highly ornamental character of the handles, allows them to be integrated into both a traditional table setting and a more contemporary setting.

With a capacity ideal for coffee, they are suitable for both traditional service and coffees prepared with the main capsule or pod machines.
